This cache was first hidden on Cannock Chase on 16/09/2001 and must be one of the oldest caches in Staffordshire. But the owner seems to have moved on from geocaching as he has failed to respond to maintenance requests for the last 2 years! He also seems to have failed to respond to requests to let someone else adopt his cache.

I'm in the Midlands, and there appears to be a trend recently where caches are set without hints being provided. This seems to be just so that the CO can "make the cache more difficult".
This does frustrate me at times. I know we all play the game in different ways, but personally I tend to use the hint pretty much all of the time.

After reading a thread on GC about images ive decided to create a flikr account purely for geocaching photos.
Reasons.
1 - Can upload an entire folder of photos in one go.
2 - Retain the original resolution.
3 - Can hyperlink the images in the log and from our profile.
4 - If anyone wants one of my photos for a calender etc its available straight away rather than by email.
5- Will enable others to see photos uploaded for terracaches as that site does... [Read More]
